There is a great need for services and programs for adults with autism. In the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services report to Congress on transitional services for teens and adults with autism, they listed an âacute needâ for services such as:
Vocational training
Postsecondary education
Treatment for comorbid conditions
Transportation assistance
Housing
Wraparound and more community services
Transition supports and more education to early adolescents and their caregivers (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 2017)
